Duties and Responsibilities:
– Transaction Reconciliation: Reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies,
– Settlement Processing: Manage the processing of settlements between with high value clients,
– Data Validation: Validate customer data, transactions, and invoices for accuracy and completeness,
– Billing Accuracy: Ensure accuracy in billing processes to prevent revenue leakage or errors,
– Revenue Monitoring: Continuously monitor revenue streams and identify potential risks or discrepancies,
– Invoice Verification: Verify and validate invoices related to settlements and financial transactions,
– Audits and Reviews: Conduct pre audits and reviews of financial and operational processes,
– Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in settlement amounts or terms,
– Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of settlements, agreements, and related documentation,
– Financial Reporting: Prepare reports on settlement activities and financial performance.
– Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with settlement agreements, and internal revenue assurance,
– Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and IT teams to address revenue-related issues; and
– Reports to: Typically reports to the Finance Director, or collaboratively to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Professional certificate, such as Public Finance, Banking & Finance, M&E and Procurement
- Proven experience in financial role.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, data analysis tools, and accounting practices.
- Familiarity with telecommunications, finance, or relevant industry regulations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented approach to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for revenue analysis.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and proactively address revenue risks.
- Experience at least 3 years.
