Guggie serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Telecel Liberia. Since assuming this role in 2019, he has been pivotal in driving operational excellence, sales growth, and strategic business representation that enhance the company’s market presence. With a strong focus on business representation and operational management, Guggie ensures that Telecel Liberia consistently delivers high-quality services to its customers. In his position, Guggie oversees the day-to-day operations, including business operations performance, customer service, and sales strategies. He has implemented innovative approaches to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and enhance customer satisfaction. His leadership has been instrumental in establishing Telecel as a trusted provider of internet and system integration services in the competitive telecommunications landscape. Prior to his role as COO, Guggie served as the Commercial Manager (2019 - 2020), where he was responsible for internet sales and significantly contributed to the growth of K3 Telecom customer base. His experience in developmental work from 2013 to 2019 provided critical business development support for micro and medium enterprises, implementing for organizations like USAID, UNDP, and FAO to foster sustainable growth. Guggie’s governmental experience in coordinating Liberia’s first MSME policy from 2012 to 2013 showcases his commitment to creating a supportive business environment. Additionally, his consultancy experience (2011 - 2022) has equipped him with a diverse skill set in strategic planning and market positioning. With an MA in International Development Studies, a BSc in Business Administration and Diploma in Private Sector Growth, Guggie combines academic excellence with practical expertise. His publications on integrity institutions and trade agreements reflect his deep understanding of the complexities of Liberia’s economic landscape. Guggie’s vision and leadership continue to position Telecel Liberia as a frontrunner in advancing digital connectivity across the nation.
